The NST Equine Basic Training is a five-day workshop and a direct adaptation from NST Basic Training for humans. The workshop is equally as important in the equine field as it is in the human, in that it provides the complete basic NST operating system for equine work.
What will I learn?
The NST Equine Basic Training
will equip the participant with a complete and comprehensive modality in its
own right for work with equine conditions and is immediately usable post workshop.
Participants will learn an integrated and powerful Dynamic Body Balance plus a variety of other procedures which are designed to seamlessly interface with the body balance.
The interface procedures will enable the participant to specifically address a comprehensive array of structural and health conditions, and will include work for the sacrum, coccyx, pelvis, diaphragm, shoulders, legs and chest.
Furthermore, a complete coverage of all historical, theoretical and philosophical aspects will be included. Basic information equine anatomy, diet and saddlery will also be covered. Some post workshop case study will be explained and assigned.
Prerequisites:
Individuals wishing to attend
the Equine Basic workshop should have firstly completed the NST Basic workshop
for humans. Some exceptions may be made where the NST Introductory workshop
has been completed and clinic experience with humans and knowledge of equine
anatomy and physiology are both extensive.
